Strength Training & Yoga: A 3-week Series

Join us for an introduction to yoga and strength training! Discover the fusion of yoga poses with weights, resistance bands, or your own body weight to enhance strength and flexibility. Delve into the science of movement and understand the significance of load for your body as you start to explore the possibilities of bringing strength training into your yoga practice.
Each session in this 3-week series will have a specific focus. Session 1: legs; Session 2: chest, triceps, abs; Session 3: back, biceps, and shoulders. You’ll leave with a list of postures to continue your practice at home, as well as how to incorporate everyday common items into your yoga and strength training practices. Participants should be able to comfortably move up and down from the ground. Open to all, no yoga experience required.
